I can't believe it's already October!

This month, I challenge you to showcase your layout or cards with swirls and flourishes.

My layout:

 

The swirl was cut right from the paper, but your swirl can be bling, hand-drawn, cardstock, chipboard... whatever your fancy!

I must have had the same brainwaves as Catherine, because I just finished creating this layout. 

The flourishes along the left side are chipboard that come "pre-glittered" from Making Memories.  These ones and a blue color are being featured with the Autumn Splendor collection at Michael's, but I've also seen silver, black and red available. 

I don't know if you would call the mint green chipboard on the corner of the picture at the far right a flourish or swirl.  This piece came from an American Crafts Thickers Accents set.  I have a bunch of different colors and styles.  Typically they are introduced to go along with the theme of the font, but I prefer the generic ones.  You can see them here.

yeah, I am off to grab some flouishes. These are one of my favorite accessories, although I don't seem to use them enough.
